Nelson was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He spent time in South Carolina as a student of Epworth  Children’s Home. During his residence, he learned of many less-than-favorable situations that children were exposed to. Although his family state was just as tumultuous, Nelson has always had a feeling of selflessness and an obligation to help anyone who is a victim to circumstance. 

In 2007, Nelson earned a diploma in Audio Production and Design from the School of Communication Arts. In 2009, he was certified by Apple Inc. in iOS and Macintosh computers operation. He currently employed by Thomas Nelson Community College as an Information Technology Specialist. Nelson is looking forward to serving OIGOK’s technical needs in the pursuit of educating Uganda’s children.
